A personal favourite, Main Loop is a journey through mature deciduous forest, hemlock groves, stream valleys, an old apple orchard and open meadow.  Points of interest include the Trail Centre, Hermitage Ruins, Sulphur Spring and Hermitage Cascade.

A washroom is usually open at the Trail Centre, about 200 feet in from the beginning and end of our hike.
