Additional Information

Arrive at Cherry Beach at 10am. There will be introductions and a trip briefing at 10:45, 11am launch. The water is cold at this time of year so please dress appropriately. We will travel across the open channel of Toronto's eastern gap shipping access. Care must be taken to stay together across the eastern gap and crossing ferry docks and pleasure boat channels. Once we cross over into the islands it is an easy and protected paddle.  We will have lunch on the island. Bring your lunch with you in the kayak, there are washroom facilities there also. After lunch we hope to travel on the Toronto harbour side of the islands back to Cherry Beach, conditions permitting. Care is again required watching for boat traffic, ferry / water taxi's and crossing the eastern gap again.
