Rattlesnake Point Loop - September 18, 2019
Start: 10:00 AM End: 12:30 PM Location: Rattlesnake Point Conservation Area Distance: Approx. 8 km. Pace: Leisurely - 3km/hr or less Terrain: Moderate - Some hills and/or some poor footing Hike Description: Come and enjoy this beautiful conservation area with its perfect views and spectacular cliffs. This is escarpment at its best. We will hike north, go down into the canyon, hike south and then ascend out of the canyon back to Rattlesnake. There is one long, steepish hill to go down and a long, but gentle hill to go back up. Bring a lunch/snack and water. Conservation pass or parking fee in effect. Rattlesnake is on the west side of Appleby Line, north of Derry Rd. at the top of the windy road.
