Important Trip Details This trip is designed for the person who has some paddling experience and who would like to try backcountry camping for the first time.

All partiicipants must have completed at least one full day trip prior to this weekend and be prepared to paddle 3-4 hours per day (with breaks). Since this is a Class B trip, you must meet the trip requirements which includes wet exit practice and practice with an assisted rescue as a swimmer.

We will have a meeting ahead of time to ensure that everyone is prepared for camping in the backcountry including having the necesssary equipment, packing your kayak and preparing food. Understanding that beginner campers may not have all the equipment, we will share some of the equipment.
