Scott Peck, B.A., MCIP, RPP, Deputy Chief Administrative Officer/Director, Watershed Management Services with the Hamilton Conservation Authority, will highlight the process from the EA to design and construction of the first of four proposed wetlands.

Learn About the Saltfleet Conservation Area Wetland
To reduce flooding and erosion below the escarpment in urban Stoney Creek while creating natural areas and passive trail connections to these lands, the Hamilton Conservation Authority has undertaken environmental assessment work with subsequent design and construction to create four new wetlands above the Niagara Escarpment.
