MEETING PLACE OR PARKING LOCATION
The parking lot behind the club house of Chedoke Golf Course. Access the clubhouse by turning south from Aberdeen Ave. onto Studholme and then left on Beddoe. Follow Beddoe to the clubhouse.

Mixed terrain, but the roughest is a short piece of the Bruce Trail

Loop
GENERAL DESCRIPTION
This loop takes in the verges of Chedoke Golf Course and two bits of the Bruce Trail.
ONLINE REGISTRATION NEEDED
Yes, A must. Leaders appreciate early registration and up to at least 24 hours before the event. Up to 15 participants are welcome.
CANCELLATION
If your plans change, please self-cancel as soon as possible so that other HOC members may take your spot.
The club may cancel due to bad weather that may impact the safety of participants or due to low attendance.

Pub Stop
A pub stop would normally be offered but this part of Hamilton is devoid of outdoor patios and parking spots. Also, there is an abundance of one-way streets to confuse you.
IMPORTANT COVID REMINDERS
Club Covid 19 measures will be observed. See Club website.
GUIDING NOTES:
HIKE PACE - Leisure: 3 km/hr or less. Moderate: 3-4 km/hr or Fast: 4-5km/hr. All paces are average and depending on the terrain.
TERRAIN - Easy: mostly flat and usually good footing (i.e. rail trails, Confederation Park, Bay Front Park), Moderate: some hills and/or poor footing (Bruce Trail, Dundas Valley, etc.) and Challenging: steep hills and strenuous footing (Bruce Trail, some trails in Short Hills, Dundas Valley and Red Hill Valley). Please note variations can be expected with weather conditions.
