This hike is a combination of two trails.   Commencing on the rail trail, picking up the Monarch trail and following that trail until it meets up with the main loop in the valley, heading towards the trail centre (washrooms).  After a short nature break/snack, the group will head back towards Dundas along the Spring Creek trail to Sanctuary Park where we will join the rail trail for a short walk back to the parking lot.
