March 7 - a note from Freda and Clive
Hi everyone, here is an update re the Tuesday hike.
Today, we hiked part of the trail from Dundas and crossed over the Ancaster road. Many parts of the trail are covered in ice/snow. Where the sun has been on the open and exposed parts the trail is quite muddy. Icers, otherwise known as traction devices, and poles are definitely needed to make this a safe walk. The time needed to do this hike will likely increase due to the trail conditions.
