Hiking Los Caminos Misteriosos #11

Sunday September 8. Los Caminos Misteriosos, Hike #11 

Meeting Time:  9:00 a.m.     End:  12:00 noon.

General Location:  Rattlesnake Point and Crawford Lake Conservation Areas.

Meeting Place:  This is the mystery (el misterioso). At the time you register, the leader will send you detailed instructions attached to an e-mail.

Pace:  Medium, 3-4 km per hr. with pauses for rest, refreshment, and relief.

Terrain:  Mostly hard-packed trail but some parts very rocky and demanding. Also, some steep hills. 

Hike Description:  A maze of trails revealing distinctive land forms, a lake very misterioso indeed and reconstructed long houses built on the very spot they first occupied hundreds of years ago.

Requirements:  This hike will be limited to the first 20 hikers who register online. Wear hiking boots and clothing suitable for the weather. Bring water and snacks. 

Post-Hike Social:  An optional pub stop will follow. Location T.B.A.
