A special opportunity for Halton club members

Anne Armstrong, HOC member, and Certified Hike Leader, is offering a private course exclusively for HOC members at a discounted rate.

Who should register
  • Halton club members interested in becoming a Certified Hike Leader
  • any Halton club member interested in learning what it takes to become a Certified Hike Leader
Description
  • The Halton Outdoor Club is offering club members the opportunity to take the Certified Hike Leaders Course in conjunction with Hike Ontario. 
  • This course will be a private course offered to Halton club members. 
  • The venue is west of Guelph Line with plenty of free parking
  • The indoor portion of the course will be held in the Multi-purpose Room.
  • We will also be using Central Park for our outdoor activity as part of the course. 
  • We require 10 club members to sign up for the course by May 23rd to secure our facility and not loose our payment. 
  • Program will be cancelled if we do not receive the minimum number of registrants (10)
  • We are pleased to tell you that Anne Armstrong is offering the course at her time and expense. 
  • This will be a great opportunity to take the course in Burlington and assist the club in developing a core of hiking trip leaders.

Price does not include

Cancellation
If you cancel before May 22, 2018, a full refund will be issued minus a club processing fee of $25. After May 22, 2018 payments are not refundable unless a suitable replacement can be found (i.e. from a club waiting list), and the replacement can be made without incurring costs to the club. If a replacement cannot be found, you will be responsible to cover whatever costs the club has incurred on your behalf up to the point of cancellation. If the entire trip has to be cancelled due to lack of participation, you will receive a refund. We require 10 club members to register for the course to secure our facility and not loose our payment.
