HOC Victoria Trail Weekend Trail Ride Trip Information Sheet

Saturday August 21 & Sunday August 22, 2021


Saturday’s Ride: The Victoria Rail trail is a popular 55 km + route running north through Ontario farm fields into the forests of cottage country. A long and winding path that keeps cyclists engaged with the ever-changing geography that passes by from Lindsay to Haliburton. The trail is hard packed gravel, mostly flat, some paved.


Sunday’s Ride: The Omemee rail trail is a popular 40 km+ bike ride in eastern Ontario from Lindsay to Peterborough. An easy ride on crushed gravel. Being part of the Trans Canada Trail (TCT) system it is well maintained and free of motorized toys in the summer.

  • Distance per day : 50-55 km
  • Stay overnight option in Lindsay (Saturday night) 
  • Accommodations : Self-book and pay, 10 rooms reserved under Halton Outdoor Club

    Victoria Trail : Meet at 9:00am for 9:15am start at Ken Reid Conservation Area, 277 Kenrei Rd, Lindsay
  • Sunday’s Ride Meeting Place: From Lindsay to Peterborough (out and back)
