Attention Halton Outdoor Club Paddlers: Do you find yourselves just itching to get back out onto the water? Can you honestly walk by a body of water and not wish that you had your kayak with you? The HOC Paddling Committee is working hard in this off-season to build a very exciting paddling program for 2021. Now it is your turn to help. If you have a trip idea or would like to learn more about becoming a trip organizer, perspective trip guide for a day, or learn about car or wilderness kayak camping, then join the Committee on Thursday, Jan. 14 from 7 to 9:00 p.m. via zoom. To attend this event, please register online. A Zoom invitation will be sent to you a day before the meeting.
Here is a bit of great gossip: The committee has created a "How to Become a Paddling guide Program" that is both informative theory and live practice. More details will follow in our Spring newsletter and events calendar.
Remember that our club is a non- profit club that runs by volunteerism. We need everyone to contribute in order to make our programs vibrant and exciting. We need all members to give of themselves and make our club richer. - Bonne
