Generally easy trails with good footing. Expect some gentle up sections. It can be muddy if we have rain few days early.

Out and back.
Point of interests
Combination of wide and narrow trails. Mostly flat and some gentle up sections along the 12 Mile Creek and Welland Canal. No hills per se. Hike will take us along parks, city roads, the old canal towards Thorhold. Nice historic bits along the old Welland canal. Will hike to Lock 7 on the Welland Canal and have a break there. Hoping washroom is open at the museum.
