Meet at 7:00 p.m. for a 7:15 p.m. start
MEETING PLACE OR PARKING LOCATION
Park in the lot on Van Wagner’s Rd. in east Hamilton in the lakefront parking lot just to the right of Hutch’s Dingley Dell. Look for the guy in the Tilley hat next to the bright red Honda Civic.

GENERAL DESCRIPTION
Point of interests
There is a green corridor in Red Hill Valley that connects Albion Falls to Confederation Park at the lakefront. We already hiked the upper half in June. It’s time to do the lower half. Join us at the end for an ice-cream cone at Hutch’s or a cold pint at Baranga’s On the Beach.

Yes. A Must. Leaders appreciate early registration and at least 24 hours before the event.
CANCELLATION
• If your plans change, please self-cancel as soon as possible so that other HOC members may take your spot.
• The club may cancel due to bad weather that may impact the safety of participants or due to low attendance.
REGISTRATION OPENS
Opens on-line 2 weeks prior to the hike and 16 hikers are welcome to this event.
WHAT TO BRING
• Running shoes or sturdy walking shoes
• Water
• Poles, if you wish
Social Hour
Feel free to join us at Hutch’s for ice-cream or Baranga’s-On-the-Beach for a cold one after the hike.
GUIDING NOTES:
HIKE PACE - Leisure: 3 km/hr or less. Moderate: 3-4 km/hr or Fast: 4-5km/hr. All paces are average and depending on the terrain.
TERRAIN - Easy: mostly flat and usually good footing (i.e. rail trails, Confederation Park, Bay Front Park), Moderate: some hills and/or poor footing (Bruce Trail, Dundas Valley, etc.) and Challenging: steep hills and strenuous footing (Bruce Trail, some trails in Short Hills, Dundas Valley and Red Hill Valley). Please note variations can be expected with weather conditions.
