Guelph Line 83.5 Km mark from Bruce Trail Guide Book Ed. 29.  1.6Km North of Dundas Street

About 4--5 hrs

TERRAIN  

Moderate.  Typical Bruce Trail. Rocky sections with some ups and downs. Challenging climb up to Mount Nemo.

Lots of road walking. Challenging climb up to Mount Nemo. Spectacular views of the GTA.

REGISTRATION OPENS

Opens on-line 2 weeks prior to the hike and is limited to 18 hikers

WHAT TO BRING

  • Hiking boots or sturdy walking shoes
  • Water, drinks, snacks, bug spray and sunscreen.
  • Prepare for Mother Nature

COVID CAUTION

Safe distancing will be observed as per Covid protocols

GUIDING NOTES:

HIKE PACE -  Leisure: 3 km/hr or less. Moderate: 3-4 km/hr or Fast: 4-5km/hr. All paces are average and depending on the terrain.

TERRAIN - Easy: mostly flat and usually good footing (i.e. rail trails, Confederation Park, Bay Front Park), Moderate: some hills and/or poor footing (Bruce Trail, Dundas Valley, etc.) and Challenging: steep hills and strenuous footing (Bruce Trail, some trails in Short Hills, Dundas Valley and Red Hill Valley). Please note variations can be expected with weather conditions.
