WHAT TO BRING

This is a Nordic walk so bring your telescoping hiking/walking poles with rubber booties as we will be on asphalt and concrete most of the time. At the start Sue will teach the Urban Poling technique for Nordic walking.  Sue is a certified Urban Poling Instructor.
See https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1-fuF1pUaws

We will have some demonstration poles and booties available.

If your poles don’t have rubber booties check online for your pole manufacturer details.

Bring water and snacks.  Rain gear and/or sunscreen.

We will stop at the lookouts to view the 16 Mile Creek valley.  There are no washrooms at this site.

Fortino’s and Tim Horton’s are north on Neyagawa.

IMPORTANT COVID REMINDERS

The club’s Covid-19 Safety Guidelines will be observed.
