What do you do when Club trips get cancelled and you can’t ski or snowshoe?
You pretend and have a great time anyway!
Come on out and learn some fitness moves that are specific to xc skiing and snowshoeing, as well as some dryland training (striding and bounding with poles). This extended WinterFit program will help you:
- Boost up your cardio
- Better your balance
- Strengthen your core
- Bump up your confidence
- AND have fun!
There may be some modifications to the original Winterfit activities if it is very cold and/or snowy, but we will figure it out.
When: Saturday Afternoons: Starting Jan 8th.
Time: 2:00 - 3:00 p.m.

What to Wear: Dress warmly but in layers. It may be cool to start but you will warm up. Footwear will be weather dependent. If there is snow, hiking boots are suggested and possibly icers or traction devices on your boots.
What to Bring:
- xc ski poles; (bring an old pair if you have them. If you don’t have ski poles bring hiking poles)
- Icers are mandatory
