Tuesday June 2. ANOTHER TUESDAY MORNING - Hike # 17

Time : 10:00 a.m. - noon. Remember to check your e-mail at 7:30 on Tuesday morning to see if the hike is still a “go”

General Area : Dundas Valley. 

Meeting Place : The upper parking lot of The Mill restaurant on Old Dundas/Old Ancaster Rd. in Ancaster. I will send directions in an e-mail to hike registrants.. 

Description : A loop walk on a variety of Dundas Valley trails to the farm home of the first black family to live in the area. They made it here via the Underground Railroad established to assist black slaves to escape their American owners.

Pace : 4-4.5 km per hr. 

Distance : 8-9 km

Terrain : Easy but with several hills.
