Sunday October 6. Los Caminos Misteriosos, Hike #12 

Meeting Time:  9:00 a.m.  End: 12:00 noon

General Location: Niagara Gorge and Whirlpool 

Meeting Place:  This is the mystery (el misterioso). At the time you register online, the leader will send you detailed instructions attached to an e-mail.

Pace:  Slow, 1-2 km per hr. with pauses for rest, refreshment and relief. 

Terrain:  Rough and very rocky. Poor footing. A long stair climb at the end. 

Hike Description:  As rough as this hike is, it is well worth the effort. To see the Niagara Gorge and Whirlpool from above is one thing, but to see them up close and personal is awe-inspiring. The experience goes beyond words. 

Requirements: The group will be limited to the first 20 hikers who register online. Wear hiking boots and clothing suitable for the weather of the day. You are strongly advised to wear long pants as a protection against patches of poison ivy. Bring water and a couple of snacks. 

Post-Hike Social:  An optional pub stop will follow. Location T.B.A.
