Hiking Loops & Lattes - Freelton Swamps and Drumlins

Saturday August 10.   Loops & Lattes, #30 Freelton Swamps and Drumlins. 

Start: 10:00 AM - approx. 3 hrs 

Location: Freelton, between Gore Rd. and Concession Rd 6 West.

Distance: 10 Km.

Pace: Leisurely (3 - 4.0 km/hr)

Terrain: Challenging 

Hike Description: Linear hike which need car pooling. Route follows the Lafarge 2000 Trail from Dundas Valley to the Township of Puslinch and then follows Middletown Rd. You will appreciate Beverly Swamp and drumlin geography. At this point, the drumlins as the local residents called “the biggest hills you’ve ever seen” not quite. Lattes location decided by/with the leader. 

Drop car at the corner of Concession Rd 6 W and Middletown Rd., carpool to the start of the hike on Gore Rd and Maddaugh Rd.
