LOS CAMINOS MISTERIOSOS (AKA: THE CHASM CAPER) HIKE #2

Date and Time: Sun., Apr. 28, 9:00 a.m. prompt.

Meeting Location: Wide shoulder on Glen Rd. at the top edge of the escarpment in Jordan. If you can't locate it, please e-mail me for written directions at least one day prior to the hike.

Type of Hike, Pace, and Duration: A loop at 4 km +/- per hr. for 3 hrs. (with occasional stops for rest, refreshment, and relief)

Terrain: Mostly moderate but with some tricky footing on the Bruce Trail pieces

Overview: The route takes in Twenty Mile Creek Gorge, Ball's Falls, the Upper Falls, the pioneer village at Ball's Falls Conservation Area, and dozens of stately hemlock trees.

Requirements: Hikers must pre-register online as participation is limited to 20 people. Wear hiking boots and clothing suitable for the weather. Bring water and a snack.

Conclusion: After the hike, we'll socialize at a nearby eatery.
