Winter is on its way...

Time to start thinking about ski  "grip" and "glide"

Clive Wright and Jim Blair

Register for either the morning session or the afternoon session (but not both).

Registration opens Nov 4 2017

In either of the sessions you can learn how to:

  • hot wax, scrape and brush your skis for optimal glide
  • prepare the kick zone on your skis for optimal grip.

Please Come Prepared:

  • bring your own skis (wooden skis and skis with three-pin bindings are not suitable)
  • clean your skis before you come ~ remove old wax
  • if you already have waxes, corks, a scraper and iron, bring them along too
  • arrive 15 minutes prior to the start of the session
When you arrive, get your skis set up on the form, whether it be for glide wax or kick wax and be ready for a brief demonstration. The waxing forms will be provided.
