The Halton Outdoor Club is a not-for-profit outdoor activity organization run primarily by volunteers. Most activities originate in and around the Golden Horseshoe area of Lake Ontario but members also have exciting travel opportunities to destinations further afield.
Every month of the year, every week, there is always something to explore outside! Many club members participate in multiple sports to stay active all year round. See our Events Calendar
Ski Lessons and Clinics in cross country skiing are offered for the beginner and for the person at a more advanced level of technique. All lessons occur early in the season and are administered by people who are well experienced in the sport and by certified instructors. Build your skills while enjoying the outdoors.
Meet other outdoor enthusiasts and be a part of a friendly and inclusive community of active people. Many lifelong friendships have been forged in this club. We enjoy our planned events such as the annual club picnic, but more often than not, we will end up somewhere for a bite and a beverage after an event and enjoy each other’s company.
Our club has traveled extensively within Canada and abroad, offering unique and memorable opportunities to explore the outdoors. British Columbia to Newfoundland. North and South America, Europe and Asia. Wilderness Camping to Hotels. See our Extended Trips
Subscribe to email updates of upcoming and newly added trips. Receive our quarterly electronic Newsletter to inform you of current and future events and fondly look back on the trips we have been on.
